This was our second visit to this establishment and once again they provided a pair of excellent scenic runs and good food when we got back.
Day one includes a castle visit for those that didn't just visit the cafe, an optional visit to the Usk reservoir and lunch at the Nation Park visitor centre returning via a petrol station for some much needed e5. Of course it included some beautiful roads and scenery.
Here are a few images of the day.
Day 2 took a more northerly loop including a visit to "Thomas Shop" a frozen in time retail experience where only the coffee and cakes were for sale, a delightful garden and a transit of the army training area north of Sennybridge.
Day 3 people were free to do as they pleased. We decided to explore the railway between Cynghordy and Llanwrtyd Wells so providing a view of the farm from the viaduct rather than the usual view of the viaduct from the farm. Some, who had been there the first time, chose to repeat one of the scenic runs from that trip via the Elan Valley.
Thanks to Chris Nickless for organising the trip. There are already rumours of a third one.
