West London Aero Club, annual charity Members Day

Event

Title:
West London Aero Club, annual charity Members Day
When:
Sat, 5. September 2026, 10:00 - 16:00

Description

This year's WLAC Members Day is on Saturday 5th September. It is a charity event so the organisers kindly ask that we contribute through the ticket purchase, explained below.

We'll look to set up a ThamesMOG flag and gather the Morgans in one line, if possible, so please can you drop me a note (with your registration and model details) when you've booked your ticket(s) so we can ensure a suitable length of reserved spaces.

Aim to get there for 10:00.

Thanks Charles

As summer draws to a close, WLAC are delighted to invite you to WLAC Members Day 2026, taking place on Saturday 5 September.

This much-loved annual event is a celebration of the WLAC community, combining the atmosphere of a traditional English fête with a fantastic flying display featuring many of our own talented members.

This year’s flying programme promises another terrific line-up, including 'Pegs' the world’s only 2 seat Hurricane, a special flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the ever-popular Tiger Nine Formation, the powerful Yak-3, and much more.

On the ground, there will be around 150 Classic Cars, family activities including the famous and ever popular Pedal planes from The Joystick Club, stalls, food and refreshments, and live music continuing into the evening.

New for 2026, there will also be a Members Day Dog Show. Classes are still being finalised, but are expected to include such prestigious categories as Best Six Legs and The Dog That Looks Most Like Its Owner!

As always, Members Day is also an opportunity to support some very worthwhile charities. This year, supporting the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, Thames Valley Air Ambulance, and Navy Wings.

When purchasing tickets, attendees will have the option to add a voluntary donation. Every contribution, however large or small, will help these charities continue their invaluable work.

Tickets are available exclusively to WLAC members and their invited guests, children aged 12 and under can attend free of charge.
