This month we have listed most of our events for this year. We wanted to be sure you had them in your diaries before these dates become double booked. I would like to thank everyone that is organising an event, I know how time consuming they can be. Please give your support to these events where you can, thank you very much.
I would like to thank Sexmog for their enjoyable expedition through Hundred-Acre wood to Pooh Bridge. I particularly enjoyed challenging Heidi Miller to a game of Pooh Sticks. My natural modesty prevents me from mentioning who won! It was quite a clever innovation though to get lost towards the end of the walk, we must try this on one of our walks (only joking!). This month we have a very enjoyable walk along the River Thames near Medmenham.
A Walk along the River Thames

The starting point of this month's walk is the car park of the Dog and Badger PH, at Medmenham. The pub can be found on the A4155 midway between Marlow and Henley. The pub has a large car park or you can use the nearby Ferry Lane.
The walk is four and half miles in length and includes a lovely stretch of the river Thames from Mill End to Medmenham. There is one steep hill to climb, however at the top there are some fines views across the Thames and surrounding countryside. Half way along the walk it will be possible to visit Hambleden Lock. This can be accomplished by walking a foot way along the weirs from Mill End.
We shall meet at 10:30 am at the Dog and Badger PH car park and we shall be back in time for lunch to enjoy the fine food at the Dog and Badger pub. Those that would just like to meet us there, we should be back about 1o'clock. I hope to see you there.
Scenic for run Cancer Charities

Entry forms are now available for our scenic run to be held on the 27th June. The tour will take in the delightful Buckinghamshire countryside and will end at a well-known beauty spot for a picnic. All proceeds will go to Cancer charities. Along with the entry form a sponsorship form is included for those of you that feel they can attract sponsors for taking part in the event. All Centres are naturally welcome. Please contact me for further details; thank you.
