I am pleased to be able to report that Mike and Pam Aldrich are organising our summer Centre dinner at the Riviera Hotel, Maidenhead in June. Last year we had a great time with Bert Oslar on the piano serenading us into the early hours. Please contact Mike and Pam to confirm your interest. As spring/summer approaches Bert Oslar is planning a trip to Selsey Bill to hopefully visit a well-known friend of his down there. I hope to be able to confirm a date soon when I see Bert next. Please watch this space
On March 1st2001 I was very lucky to come across Y25 MOG a brand new Morgan Plus Eight parked in the Bird In Hand car park. What timing on its first day of existence, Alan and Claire's new morgan has a night out at a Thames Valley noggin! On behalf of the Centre please accept our warmest congratulations. Please note that our trip to Walbury Hill is cancelled due to the uncertainty surrounding the foot and mouth emergency. We hope to go back there in the future when possible.
During January we welcomed Sandra Stuart, David Smith and Andy Low to the Centre. Sandra and David have a new Silver coloured 4/4 just delivered between the floods. I tried a trip to Malvern in early December only to find Upton Upon Severn was cut off on my chosen route not even a Landrover could get through I guess. Andy owns a mid 1990s (that sounds like a long time ago now) Connaught Green +4 four seater. Andy does some travelling, since last February he has done ten thousand miles, the Chancellor of the Exchequer and the rest of

We plan to hold our Christmas celebration there again next year on the evening of our normal third Thursday noggin in December so please put this date in your diary. We had a fun walk at Walbury Hill in December. It was the sort of walk that my Labrador Bobby and I enjoy the best: the muddy ones! We hope to repeat this walk later in the year, as the views should be very impressive on a clear spring/summers day. I would like
There have been some delays in the publication of our Centre Newsletter in recent months. I would like to apologise for these delays, all I have to do is to make it up each month but Gerry Burkiit drives the computer and produces the copy for circulation. In fact I don't believe we as a Centre thank Gerry enough for all his hard work - thank you very much Gerry. There has been some serious illness in Gerry's family over the last few months. Naturally Gerry hasn't had much free time. However I am very pleased to be able to
Hopefully as you read this Centre report we will have survived the big event of the year MOG 2000. I would like to thank all the Centre members that helped out at Lydden Hill your assistance was greatly appreciated. During July along with FH Douglass the Centre won an award at the Uxbridge car show. Congratulation to all that attended. I know you were justly rewarded as many of you had the pleasure of meeting Miss Great Britain, proving once again Morgans attract the young ladies, especially Royal Ivory coloured cars, so I'm told. Does anyone know of a good
