Our Centre was originally formed at the Bird In Hand back in 1970, when we still had pounds, shillings and pence and no one had even heard of the Euro! Hence 2000 is our thirtieth anniversary year and we hope to celebrate this fact big time - watch this space! The first Thursday noggin in November saw a reasonable turn out considering the imminent threat of rain and the cold! Our new line in Christmas cards sold well with the millennium just round the corner. At the Bird in Hand in September we spent most of the evening planning our then eminent trip to the Brighton Speed Trials. It had been over six years since Tim and Sheila Billard had been to the Centre. They only live in Twyford so hopefully their return to the fold will be permanent.
