At the time of writing I had just completed the third Thames Tour as the wingman for Tim Jones which was quite an honour as you can imagine. Tim piloted us well round Windsor mixing it with what I believe was a recent Plus 4 Super-Sports. I got a photo and we did wave at each other. If the owner is reading this report, however, then please let us know if I identified you correctly. We ventured forth to the Windsor Castle Classic Car show, went on for nice lunch, followed by a visit to SGT. I don’t want to
At the time of writing I was looking forward to our Fawley Hill Museum visit. Terry Tedman has been able to get us back to the Museum earlier than we had expected, which is great. By the time you read this, I will have had another ride on the wonderful carrousel and numerous goes on the train, and of course, I will have seen Tim Janes working hard as one of the volunteers at the museum without whom there would be no event. The summer has been and gone, and as ever, it seems to go really quickly. So I

Terry Tedman has been able to get us back to the Museum earlier than we had expected. This is a great day out. Last year I had my first ride on a steam driven carrousel. I have always loved the horses. The museum itself is a delight to all rail enthusiasts and of course there are the regular rides on the train around the grounds of the estate with plenty of wildlife to spot. Our very own Tim
It is with deep sadness that I report the passing of Bill Smallwood. Bill was one of the earliest members of the Centre and was well known and had many friends. He was in fact the first treasurer for the Centre. Bill and his wife Kathie enjoyed their red 4/4 with its four seats; having many trips away while taking part in Centre events whenever they could. Sadly, in recent years they had to give up their Morgan but they had many happy memories and had many friends in the World of Morganeering. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend Bill’s
